This is a 1969 Austin Healey Sprite in Dark Blue. The vehicle is complete, but in need of service. I bought it one year ago not running. I have subsequently got it running. See video here on YouTube http://youtu.be/znqeAIy3LL8 There was no key when I purchased the car. So, you have to run power directly to the coil, use a jumper for the starter solenoid, and run fuel from a small container as the fuel pump is electric. Engine: The engine is complete and runs smoothly. The air cleaner housings are removed, but are in the back seat. Transmission: Together and shifts through the gears, rear driveshaft is present. I could not engage the transmission as the clutch solenoid is not functioning. Brakes: The brakes need complete overhaul. Body: The body is pretty straight. There are a few dings, as witnessed by the pictures. There is some rust at the back of the trunk and a little below the belt line. There is probably some under the seats as well. The bottom of the doors are solid. It appears as if the paint is original. Interior: The interior is complete, however it needs restoration. The seats are separating at the seams. The dash looks good over all and everything is present. Electrical: There is no battery with the car. All of the wiring is present. Wheels and Tires: The wheels and hub caps are original. The tires will hold air for transport. Documents: I have a clear Alabama registration. Alabama does not issue titles on vehicles older than 25 years. All states have a reciprocity agreement whereby they honor registrations from other states where there are no titles issued because of age. I have sold cars to residence of other states, such as Florida and have verified this with the DMVs of other states when selling vehicles. I would advise doing your own research on your state, however I have not sold a car yet that could not be registered in the buyer's state. Shipping: The vehicle rolls, that is about it. I have a loading dock and can assist with loading.
