THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION - THE HIGHEST BIDDER GETS THE CAR This is the second auction now - the last winner did not come up with the money - please only bid if you have the funds ready - i need this car gone - thanks 1955 Chevy Bel Air The car needs to be finished. I got the car a couple of month ago with the intention to finish the car. But like it is always I won't be able to finish the Bel Air. I bought it because i was pretty amazed about the straight body. It looks good. There is not much body work needed before the car will be ready for a nice new coat of paint. Frame looks very good. I found one little tiny hole in the floor board on the passenger side. Also i found 3 bigger holes in the rocker panels and one rust spot in the trunk. All needs to be replaced or patched. Other than that the Chevy is very solid. The car runs and drives. I was told that the engine and tranny were both rebuild by the previous owner - but I do not have any paperwork to prove that. For sure I can tell you that the engine sounds good and has a lot of power. Tranny shifts good too. The interior needs to be redone. There are so many trim and spare parts in the car and trunk that I am confident that the car is complete but will describe it as 90% complete - I just don't want to be the bad guy if a part is missing. The car is also coming with a new front and rear bumper set still in the box. Overall this is a pretty solid and easy project car. Mostly it needs cosmetic restoration. The appearance of the car is already very cool - the wheels are perfect for the car. This is a Georgia car - no state title. I have all paperwork for the winning bidder to get a clear title.
