This is a 1963 Fiat 1200 Vetture Especiali. I am not certain on the year as I can not find a data base. I am guessing based on the VIN being towards the end of production. The vehicle is in need of complete restoration. I bought it one year ago not running. I have made no effort to get it running. Engine: The engine is not present. I did not receive it from the previous owner and he did not know where it was. Transmission: There is no transmission either. Brakes: Unknown condition. I did not test these. I simply wiped the car down for the pics. I would assume a rebuild will be in order given the time it has sat. Body: The body is straight. The engine compartment looks great. The bottoms of the doors are in good condition and the floor pans are salvageable. The main damage is in the battery box. There is rust through where the trunk comes in contact with the bottom of the quarters, but this is repairable. And one spot up by the bulk head, but the rest of the trunk looks really solid. There is surface rust overall as witnessed by the images. Interior: The interior is complete, however it needs complete restoration. The seats are separating at the seams and the door panels are destroyed. There is no carpet. The dash looks good over all and everything is present. Electrical: There is no battery with the car. All of the wiring is present. The rear taillight housing are in the trunk Wheels and Tires: The wheels and hub caps are original. I have the hubcaps, not pictured. The tires will not hold air. If the winning bidder wishes I can arrange to have some mounted at cost to the buyer with no mark up. Documents: I have a clear Alabama registration. Alabama does not issue titles on vehicles older than 25 years. Most states have a reciprocity agreement whereby they honor registrations from other states where there are no titles issued because of age. I have sold cars to residence of other states, such as Florida and have verified this with the DMVs of other states when selling vehicles. I would advise do your own research on your state, however I have not sold a car yet that could not be registered in the buyer's state. Shipping: The tires are flat and at least one drum is seized. I have a loading dock and can assist with loading.
