This is a 1972 Saab 96 in Carolina Blue. The vehicle is complete, but in need of service. I bought it one year ago not running. I have made no effort to get it running. Engine: The engine is complete. The carb has been partially disassembled, but the parts are there. the air cleaner housing is in the back seat. The rest is still together. Transmission: Together and shifts through the gears, front CV shafts are present. Brakes: Unknown condition. I did not test these. I simply wiped the car down for the pics. I would assume a rebuild will be in order given the time it has sat. Body: The body is pretty straight. There are a few dings, as witnessed by the pictures. The most obvious in on the right rear, where the taillight is located. There is very little in the way of rust and what there is surface and non-structural. The windows wind up and down. The hood opens and closes correctly. I was unable to open the trunk, but you can see through from the rear seat and it appears solid. The doors open and close, however the passenger side door sometimes does not latch. Interior: The interior is complete, however it needs restoration. The seats are separating at the seams and the door panels are separating. The dash looks good over all and everything is present. Electrical: There is no battery with the car. All of the wiring is present. The left rear marker and right rear taillight are damaged. Wheels and Tires: The wheels and hub caps are original. The tires will hold air for transport. Documents: I have a clear Alabama registration. Alabama does not issue titles on vehicles older than 25 years. All states have a reciprocity agreement whereby they honor registrations from other states where there are no titles issued because of age. I have sold cars to residence of other states, such as Florida and have verified this with the DMVs of other states when selling vehicles. I would advise doing your own research on your state, however I have not sold a car yet that could not be registered in the buyer's state. Shipping: The vehicle rolls, that is about it. I have a loading dock and can assist with loading.
