VERY RARE Simplex Quarter Ton Truck. Except for paint and tires, this bike looks to be all original. If you know the history of the Simplex Truck models, you know that somewhere around 100 of these were originally built in the 1950s. This is one of the last trucks built, with one of, if not the highest serial numbers known. Has late-style Phelon ignition (rare for a truck model). Correct, rare right side single bayonet-style gas cap fuel tank. All there, but needs to be restored. Engine turns over smoothly. I have never tried to start it in the 15+ years that I've owned it. Sold with a Bill of Sale. No title. If you want one of these rare Simplex Trucks, but don't want to pay as much as this one, keep watching....I'll be placing my 1955 Quarter Ton Truck up for sale next.
