Time to sell our showroom display truck... Were replacing it with a all original Jeep CJ-6.. wish we had the display area for both but unfortunately we don't. Here is the story on this truck. Purchased from the Whittier City School District. They had this truck sitting in one of their warehouses for over 30 years, until we got the call to come and save it from going to the wrecking yard. Still has the WCSD initials painted on original bumpers. ORIGINAL OLIVE GREEN PAINT. HAVE THE ORIGINAL TITLE STILL REGISTERED TO THE Whittier City SCHOOL DISTRICT. Truck was ordered by and purchased new for Southern Californias Whittier City school district, they have been the only registered owners of the vehicle since 1962. Super rare piece of American history ready for whatever plan you may have for it. If you would like we can build this truck for you in any configuration you like. Our plan for this truck was going to be a 6.0 liter LS swap, with 1 Ton GM axles and suspension and a NV 4500 5 speed manual and NP 205 transfer case. Motor is good, we ran it for a while last year and it was solid. Its the original inline 6. Trans shifts good and transfer case is operational and goes in and out of 4 wheel drive easily. Rear differential has a broken ring gear. all original parts including the driveshaft are in the back of the truck. Suspension all stock, original 16 inch 6 lug steel wheels, tires in good shape. BOTH FRONT AND REAR DIFFS WILL NEED ATTENTION AS WELL AS BRAKE LINES. TRUCK WILL NEED A COMPLETE REWIRE. FLOORS WILL NEED REPLACING. OTHERWISE THE TRUCKS BODY AND FRAME ARE VERY SOLID, REMEMBER THIS IS ORIGINAL PAINT. AWESOME PROJECT TRUCK, WHICH DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE AT THIS TIME. OBVIOUSLY BEING SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION.
