Up for auction is a classic 1967 Ford Mustang with the original 289 cubic inch V-8 engine and automatic transmission. This car has been completly restored with lots of new parts. The car has new floor pans and some new body parts. Most of the chrome and most of the glass is brand new! The original interior has been recovered with the factory type vinyl material. All of the carpet is new as well. New body parts were used if there was any sign of rust. This car is not full of bondo and has been done the right way. We have over $15,000 in the restoration plus the original cost of the car when we bought it in 1996. Because many new body parts were used and the original vin number was hard to read this car was taken to the Missouri Highway Patrol for an inspection and the car was given a new vehicle identification number and a Missouri title was issued on 09/26/96 in our name. Options include original automatic transmission and factory power steering. The original rally wheels have been painted to match the car. The raised white lettered radial tires are brand new with less than 50 miles on them. Only the am-fm radio with cd player is not original equipment. The odometer shows 39,055 miles. I would describe the color as a candy apple red and the interior is tan or sand in color.
