Up for sale is a 83 FJ60, this is a original California truck that was overhauled by famous TLC toyota restoration located in southern California.. famous for complete restoration of land cruiser trucks..you can learn more about them at www.tlc4x4.com . this truck was overhauled and over $25.000 was spent.. all receipts and records available... overhaul was done at 213.000 miles and now its at 257.000 miles..it included a complete rebuilt motor , and new 5 speed Australian transmission upgrade.. and much much more , details are on the receipts.. . this truck has been used regularly by its previous owner and shows its wear and tear from 83.. but its in a shape where i wouldn't hesitate to drive cross country today... ive owned many other fj models and all i can say is , this truck really runs good.. please scroll down to view over 200 HD pictures on this same page.. the exterior is in great shape.. there's no rust , no dents, no damages , the paint shines very nicely and looks beautiful.. the truck was originally a light blue color truck , at some point in its life the owner changed the color to black.. it has been repainted again to black not too long ago, its a good paint job, however theres some paint blemishes that show when your under the sun.. you will need to be close enough to see it, im a picky person and i see it, many of you might not notice it, even when your up close.. all windows are in great shape, has all 4 original mud flaps, rocker moldings and all chrome is in great shape, the underbelly is clean and has no damages or rust, pretty solid truck.. has the bigger fj62 mirrors , does have a old man emu suspension lift kit and it makes day and night difference compared to stock.. looks better and drives much smoother.. chrome rims are in great shape, and tires are at 60% all around.. all lights and turn signals work.. overall a very nice and original looking truck.. a real head turner.. interior is in good shape , carpets and seats show minor wear and tear.. headliner is perfect, door panels are clean, dash is ok , does have couple cracks, all gauges work, all dash lights work fine, heater works fine, ac does not work, compressor will need to be replaced, overall very clean looking interior , non smoker owner and no pets ever lived in it.. has a sony mp3 cd player with upgraded speakers.. all manual door locks work fine, and all manual windows work fine... Mechanically this cruiser is in good shape.. starts right up and runs very smooth.. the motor has lots of power , does not leak, smoke or rattle.. the 5 speed transmission shifts fine through all gears and does not grind.. the 5 speed compared to the stock 4 speed is a huge difference.. you can cruise on the freeway for hours and not get tired of excessive engine rev . you also save on fuel... a replacement 5 speed swap usually runs about $5k.. and this truck has it.. clutch feels great and has no issues.. the 4x4 engages fine and has no issues.. both front and rear diffs were redone and drive very smoothly.. brakes are good, stops well and does not shake or pull.. parking brake works fine,... i would suggest the new owner to replace the ac compressor to have cold air, and just drive it.. there's really nothing else i could suggest other than the ac.. its a great truck for the money... and the price will only go up ... its got lots of character and its a super cool truck to own.. also has a heavy duty trailer hitch for towing.. drives nice on the highway and easily cruises 80 mph. or more if you push it.. TLC is a very reputable shop known to restore only land cruisers , and its very hard to find a TLC redone cruiser for sale.. this is your chance to buy one for a fraction of the cost compared to current restoration prices at TLC.. i have a clear title ready to sell... i can assist you with shipping to your door if you like.. just ask...
