This is a very rare 4-DOOR CONVERTIBLE. You are never likely go to a car show and have a competitor. There are simply very few left. The few survivors that are still around are highly sought after by collectors. The 1934 Austin 10 Open Road Tourer was one of the most popular European car of the 30's. The exterior has a very distinctive look to it, featuring: Sucide, Chrome Front & Rear Bumpers, a Chrome Radiator Cover, Chrome Wing Headlights, Black Spooked Wheels, Long Folding Bonnet, Side Ventilators, Spare Wheel Cover and a Folding Luggage Rack. The body and undercarriage are solid and rust free. The paint has a nice deep red shine to it with normal minor wear. The interior is complimented by black upholstery and carpet and with wood trim around the dashboard. The top and side curtains are in new conditionas you can see in the photos. The engine is in overall good mechanical condition. The car was found after sitting for a few years in a garage. When we purchased it, we had to refinish the gas tank, gas lines and brake lines. (which is typical of cars that have sat for a long time). In my many years of being a car collector, enthusist and being in the car business, I have personally never seen one of these beautiful, elagant yet qute cars at any show or auction. When I first layed eyes on this car, I truly fell in love with it. I absolutly ador the size of the car, and the fact that it is a four door convertible only 11' 7" long! High Velocity Classics is proud to offer up for sale this beautiful 1934 Austin 10 Open Road Tourer. This is a very rare 4-DOOR CONVERTIBLE. You are never likely go to a car show and have a competitor. There are simply very few left. The few survivors that are still around are highly sought after by collectors. The 1934 Austin 10 Open Road Tourer was one of the most popular European car of the 30's.
The exterior has a very distinctive look to it, featuring: Sucide, Chrome Front & Rear Bumpers, a Chrome Radiator Cover, Chrome Wing Headlights, Black Spooked Wheels, Long Folding Bonnet, Side Ventilators, Spare Wheel Cover and a Folding Luggage Rack. The body and undercarriage are solid and rust free. The paint has a nice deep red shine to it with normal minor wear.
The interior is complimented by black upholstery and carpet and with wood trim around the dashboard. The top and side curtains are in new condition as you can see in the photos.
The engine is in overall good mechanical condition. The car was found after sitting for a few years in a garage. When we purchased it, we had to refinish the gas tank, gas lines and brake lines. (which is typical of cars that have sat for a long time).
In my many years of being a car collector, enthusist and being in the car business, I have personally never seen one of these beautiful, elagant yet qute cars at any show or auction. When I first layed eyes on this car, I truly fell in love with it. I absolutly ador the size of the car, and the fact that it is a four door convertible only 11' 7" long! If you want attention and or a show stopper, this is the car for you!
