This is the highly touted Suzuki V-Strom 650. It has a great reputation for a reason. I have ridden Harleys, BMW R1200GS and the BMW R1200RT on various trips, and for taking a tour I would put this bike with any of them. As a function of cost and value, it is the clear winner. The handling on the V-Strom is outstanding, it holds well in corners and moves from turn to turn effortlessly. I took this on a trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway and I couldn't get the smile off of my face for weeks! It is an incredibly reliable bike, no issues at all that I've had to deal with, just routine maintenance. It is very well suited for beginners, but it still has the power and versatility for experienced riders. The bike is garage-kept and comes loaded with: an upgraded front fork for added stability and reduced nose-dives during hard braking, center stand, skid plate, crash bars, hand guards, manual cruise control (throttle knob) and a lockable top case and base plate (stock base plate also included). It comes with two windshields (stock and tall adjustable) and two seats (stock and taller with extra padding). Soft side bags are available (or free to Buy it Now). All in all, this is a terrific bike that is loaded with everything you could want. I love this bike and I am only selling it to upgrade to a brand new V-Strom.
