This BMW RT P 1150 is a real California police bike with Mary number still on the rear crash bars. She has saddle bags, radio box, sergeant seat and several standard police features which place the bike in the $25,000 bracket when it was delivered to the CHP in 2002. Some other features include run flat tires, heavy duty 80 watt alternator, auxiliary wiring harness, to run the Code 3 lights, siren, radar, GPS, oil cooler fans, Halogen lights, emergency running lights, starter and dual battery setup. Note this is not a dual spark ignition system. Code 3 equipment was removed by the police. She has an extended duty electrical and oil cooling system. The handle bars have extended bolts to accommodate the Motorola Radio mount and radar display. there is also a high vis light mount, antenna and shot gun mount on the rear crash rails. There are radio speakers in the front cowling which were connected to the police radio and they are functional. The grips are two level heated and very comfortable in the cold. The nicest feature for me is the electric windshield which eliminates wind noise and makes all the difference for a comfortable ride. I am the second owner, so to speak and I have maintained the bike as if I were the first owner. I am taking a break from biking and need to sell her to pay for my kids college.
