1967 Jaguar XKE convertible, 4.2 liter engine. Canary yellow with brown leather interior. Same owner for last 40 years. Completely rebuilt to new: engine overhauled in 2001, car painted by Brittain's in Houston in 2002, interior installed in 2005. New top, new clutch, new brakes, new tires, new battery. All bumpers re-chromed in 1999, new master cylinder in 1992, and new ball joints in 1995. Paint: very good paint job, car was sandblasted down to the metal. Interior: Italian leather; very soft, but easily stained by water and some scratches. Seats were re-stuffed before re-upholstered. Carpet is a bit old and should be replaced. Very unique car; a real head-turner. Not driven very much any more; needs a new home. On Apr-23-14 at 08:34:37 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is sold as is, where is, with no warranty. The car runs and drives, but is not a new car obviously. The odometer is not quite correct since it stopped working last year - I have not driven it more than 50 miles since. I bought a new rubber seal kit for the top, doors and windows, but have not installed it; it goes with the car.
