1978 Ford F150 Ranger 1/2 ton long bed Power Steering, power brakes, AM FM 8 track player (works), 460 engine, C6 automatic, Sunroof, bed cover, brake controller for electric brakes and AC. This the Explorer model of the Ranger line. It has trim package and heavier springs than a stock F150. Original one owner since new. Less than 30,000 actual miles. Paint all original except for the hood and part of the tail gate. The original paint is very nice and there are no dents other than a real small one in the hood near the windshield. Interior is all original with very little wear. I purchased this new in 1978 and only used it to pull my fishing boat and occasional light hauling. It has never been used as a daily driver and always been more for show than work. About 5 years ago I replaced the original 351 engine with a 460 so it could pull a car trailer but I no longer have a boat and only used it once to pull my car trailer. There are 2770 miles on the 460 engine which was purchased as a new rebuild. There were 26046 on the truck when I changed the motor. I swapped the speedometer with an older truck so I could get the 100 mph speedometer instead of the original 85mph one. I did this when I replaced the motor and set it to zero so I could tell how many miles were on the new motor. I don't like to see it just sit in my garage. I have many Classic cars and have more than I am able to take care of. There is also a camper shell that can go with it that I purchased new when I bought the truck. I removed the camper shell and put the bed cover on after doing the engine swap. I wanted to see better when backing up.
