1955 Chevrolet 3100 NAPCO 4x4 pickup with 4 speed and camper shell. I purchased this truck in Colorado over ten years ago, and thinking that I was finally ready to restore it, I put the title in my name and licensed it. The engine had a cracked block so I purchased a 235 engine that had low mileage since it was rebuilt. We moved across the country before I realized that the engine didn't have the correct front motor mounts (it's for an earlier truck). I've also discovered that someone took the radiator and radio. We are now moving again and I'm not going to be able to keep the truck. I think the truck is in good condition for being almost 60 years old and should be worth the effort to re-store, or repair and drive as it is!The floor of the cab is solid, however the truck does have repairable rust in the usual places. Perhaps the engine could be traded for the correct one?A (non refundable) deposit of $500.00 must be paid within 2 days of the auctions end with PayPal or 5 days by mail, and full payment must be paid within 7 days of the auctions end! On Apr-22-14 at 14:16:20 PDT, seller added the following information: The wood in the bed is bad, however the box, tailgate, and metal strips are in good condition!The bottoms of the doors look to be solid!The steps into the cab and cab corners will need some repair if restored!The lower part of the front fenders are in good to repairable condition!There are what I would call splash shields in side the front fenders that have rusted!Like I said, the truck does have some repairable rust!I'm still looking for the key!
