Power for all tCs comes from a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with dual variable valve timing. The unit produces 180 hp and 173 lb-feet of torque, making plenty of power at the first stomp of the gas. However this power does not come at the cost of fuel economy as the Scion tC is still rated at 31 mpg on the highway.The tC benefits from MacPherson front, while the rear utilizes an independent double- wishbone system. Please note on the vehicle history reports the vehicle was stolen. It was NOT. My wife had given my daughter permission to borrow the car and, not knowing that, I reported it stolen. When I found out I cancelled the theft report. You will see that the vehicle report indicates that the car was recovered the next day. Thus, it was never stolen and my daughter naturally returned it in the same excellent condition it was when she borrowed it. Feel free to check it out before auction close to see for yourself.
