There is Absolutely No Rust. 1985 is the only year Toyota made this truck with a straight front axle with leaf springs, making this clean and original example even more desirable. This 4Runner was proudly owned, driven and cared for by three older men in California. The last owner is now retired in Montana. The only non-working item to note is that the Citizens Band Radio mounted in the console died. Any Bandits out there with their ears on? As we get very picky there are a few flaws to note. SR 5 4Runners were built for tough utility use and rough off road use. Thus there are a few very hard to see paint flaws and two small dings but they are there. The rear cargo area carpet has a stain that’s still visible even after the carpet cleaner threw in the towel, the picture of the rear cargo area shows it but you have to look hard. The removeable tops headliner has two small cuts, if you wish I can email pictures that show them. Even with the best care for 29 years there will be a few flaws show up if you use a vehicle. The passenger area is as nice as the pictures show it. Original seats with SR 5 logo fabric, clean beautiful carpeting and pristine front headliner are all exceptional.
