I bought this car back in early 1988 while stationed in Italy and absolutely enjoyed it. I had it shipped back stateside in 89 and put it into my dad's garage for storage (I was then stationed in the UK). I love this car dearly but just don't have the time (or money) to spend getting this car back on the road. I intended on repainting it to one of the original Fiat colors and started hand stripping the paint (see pics). A little history: Manual 5 speed transmission Convertible (back window is clouded) 3rd owner (unverified) 60+K Original miles (unverified but no reason to doubt otherwise) Repainted from sky blue to the rust red in 88 Abarth rims Full size spare All original parts Brought back to states in 89 Stored in garage until 92 and then trailored to Illinois Drove for 2 more years and then stored in garage to present Clear title I did try starting the vehicle about 4 years ago and the engine did turn but no spark. Seats will need to be replaced. I would love to restore this vehicle but as I said, just don't have the time or resources to do that and it's time to give the garage space back to my dad (he's been so very generous on this). I am selling the car AS IS with no warranty. This is a project or for parts car. Buyer to arrange shipping. The car is located in Port Clinton, OH 43452 and it will be the buyers responsibility and expense to arrange pick-up/shipping. My dad took up the mats and found that the floor area was coated with a rubber seal. Visual inspection from underneath shows some surface rust. Pushing on the floor felt solid. Shock area looked "good" and felt solid.
