Vehicle Detail
Ultra Rare 1978/79 SR5 Toyota Pickup 2WD Short Bed. ALL ORIGINAL (beside the hood and sliding rear window)! California truck!! ORIGINAL TITLE AND 1 OWNER, Clean Title, Original Paint and graphics- it is unrestored! Even have the original books and guides. I guarantee you will never find another one as clean, pristine and original as this one. This pickup is the fourth month of this body style manufactured in 1978. Its a 5 digit odometer and reads 6,250 miles, could be up to 106,250 OR 206,250. New timing chain and guides and head gasket (TOYOTA OEM) so this thing is super reliable and is ready for a cross country trip. Burnt Orange is the body color with an immaculate tan interior. Original everything! 20R motor that runs awesome turning a smooth and solid freshly rebuilt 5-speed transmission and clutch. Brand new Carburetor! Has A/C which I believe has been converted to R-134 (needs recharge). All lenses and lights are in tact. The bed appears to be unused with light dents inside the bed rails and fender wells, which I bed lined. Has nice original 14 inch SR5 wheels/ T- hubcaps with BRAND NEW SDL70 tires. Still have the receipts. The interior is unbelievable, this truck came with the Brown bucket sport seats, tachometer in cluster, and center console with SR5 Gauge Cluster (works). Original bottle jack and tools. Has original radio that WORKS! The hood is painted flat black but I also have the original hood which someone has tried to repair. The bed has a bit of surface rust but has been treated with rust stop.New steering components (tie rods, center linkage rod). Looks as good as it drives! It was a Federal- non smog vehicle but had been converted when it got registered in California in '79 ( catalytic convertor). Please look at all the pictures. NO RESERVE BID! The tachometer stopped working today, probably a bad ground. Thanks for looking.
