Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a custom 1959 Chevy Truck. this truck has had a ton of work done to it and I will try and list it all here, I will forget some im sure so if you have any questions about anything let me know. it has all new brakes, brake lines, brake master cylinder, new wheel cylinders. it also has a boiled out gas tank, all new fuel lines and a new fuel pump. the bed has had metal welded in it 30+ years ago instead of the original wood and it looks awesome. This truck has a front subframe and suspension out of a mid 1980's Camaro, it was put on under the stock frame to not only add strength but to drop the front end 10 inches from stock. it has disc brakes up front and drums out back. I rebuilt the Heater and it works great. It has almost brand new tires on it, with new tubes in all the wheels. the rims have been sandblasted and painted. the rear end is out of the same mid 1980's Camaro. the rear axle has been relocated on top of the leaf springs to give it 10 inches lower than stock, so even though this truck is only 4-5 inches off the ground it actually is all stock suspension. the engine and transmission is out of an 1980's chevy truck, it is a 350 chevy engine and a turbo 350 transmission. all the exterior on this truck is the stock paint and natural patina. this truck had sat in a field for over 25 years when I picked it up last year. I have put over 2000 miles on it in the last couple months and have had not problems at all, this truck is awesome but its not perfect though. the motor burns a little oil (1/2 a quart every gas fill up) it needs shocks (the old ones are junk) and since its low it drags the ground on potholes, and it could use a tune up. im sure if forgot a ton of info so if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to email me, also here is my number to ask any questions. 816-351-6957 you can call, but text is better. I work weird hours and don't always answer a call but I will always answer a text. I have a bunch of pics of this truck while it was in the build stage on my hot rod shops business page. I cant post the link here so I will tell you to just google CaseysCustoms and my facebook page will pop up, then you can see my before pics and also check out some of the work I have going on right now. THIS TRUCK HAS OVER 17,000 LIKES ON RAT ROD MAGAZINES FACEBOOK PAGE, AND OVER 1000 ON MY FACEBOOK PAGE!!!
