Cranking out 500 horsepower, the lightweight, high performance LS3 rumbling beneath this car’s hood is a technological testament: Ultra Modern 500 horsepower drive train and consistent performance day in day out! Derived from General Motors very successful performance program, the brutal mill utilizes forged main bearings, a forged steel crank, titanium connecting rods and aluminum pistons to flat out whip pretty much anything with four wheels. A perfect amount of air and fuel is supplied by a reprogramed ECM throttle body that’s cinched to a polished air tube and Spectre reusable filter element. That air and fuel mixes in a factory LS3 intake and progresses to aluminum cylinder heads. Immediately following combustion, spent gases roar through 3.0 inch stainless pipes via Hedman Mid-Length Ceramic Coated Headers. And a big radiator, quick-spinning electric fan, a new ignition system and a polished Old Air Front Runner system ensure rocket-like acceleration. The (500-HORSEPOWER BEAST)rides in a body-matched bay that displays OEM-level attentiveness to both engineering and assembly. And details like a clean radiator shroud, a flush custom Aluminum firewall and SS hood supports dress up GM’s traditionally conservative aesthetics. At the bottom of this brutal bowtie, a slick shifting 6L80 6 Speed automatic transmission spins a brand new Yukon Duragrip Posi-traction rear end that hangs stout 3.73 gears inside a completely bullet proof case. Holding that top-notch drivetrain off the ground is a tubular Total Cost Involved front subframe, which rides on tubular upper and lower control arms, coil over shocks, and a Heidts QUADRAlink four bar rear suspension, which makes good use of a high quality Panhard bar, two more adjustable coil over shocks. Braking is provided by a four wheel Wilwood system/E-brake which applies pressure to drilled and slotted rotors via steel lines, bright red front calipers and four piston rear calipers. Turns come courtesy of full power steering which makes this classic car handle like a dream. Exhaust duties are handled by slick HPC pipes which funnel spent gases through an H-pipe crossover and great sounding Flowmaster dual chamber mufflers. Putting all the 500 horsepower to the ground is a spectacular set of custom Torque Thrust replicas which spin 225/40ZR18 in front - 235/45ZR18 in the rear. And all the right ancillary items like heavy duty subframe connectors, a custom fuel tank provide a detailed and show-ready appearance. Open this Camaro’s shaved doors and you’ll find a modern SS interior that’s built around full power sport bucket seats and a nice blend of modern style. At the front of the car a custom, dash hangs a slick set of Dakota Digital Maximum Performance gauges and a carbon fiber finish. Below that dash a full length matching SS center console, props a modern shifter between a Old Air A/C control panel. Below that console, high quality Berber-like carpet rides between custom sill plates and smoothed door jambs. Above those side panels, a custom suede headliner anchors a rearview mirror between sun visors.
