I feel this is one of the NICEST available for Sale. This was a former show car in the 1980’s. This was purchased from the original owners. Here comes the fun stuff! The original owner special ordered the Limited Wolfsburg Edition which was beyond the top of the line model at the time. He ordered it with remote mirrors, factory air conditioning, sliding rear window, and bed gates. Its LOADED with accessories and options. If that wasn’t enough, he added a GTI 1.8L engine, GTI 5 speed manual transmission, GTI wheels, GTI seats, GTI console with “working gauges” (2) 8” sub woofers and a remote Alpine CD player. It also has a rare Kamei front spoiler which i have been told are hard to come by. It runs and drives great. Its a BLAST to drive. This is for all the Caddy MK1 enthusiasts or anyone that demands a nice Volkswagen Pickup with a near perfect original exterior. The number of nice survivors is very low in this condition. Without question, it is certain to be a standout in any serious collector's stable or anyone that appreciates a low millage never been hit pickup. The truck is still wearing most of its original Silver paint. The original owners of this 1982 LX Limited Wolfsburg Edition Volkswagen Pickup took exceptional care of it. This super exceptional and un-restored original is a great example of just how nice an old Volkswagen pickup can be with a history of proper care, maintenance, and being garaged. It displays beautifully for being over 30 years old and being garaged since new. Everything works as it should. The undercarriage will surprise you with how clean and dry it is. This Caddy draws a lot of respect from knowledgeable enthusiasts. Be prepared to get lots of waves, smiles, and compliments everywhere you go. It runs and drives great. Please remember this is not a restored pickup; it has some dings, scratches, and minor paint touchups over the years, which is common for being 30 plus years-old. Those who have been looking know how impossible it is to find a pickup in this condition also being the rare LX Wolfsburg Edition, and rare options it has listed above. Its hard to explain every detail of a 30 plus year old vehicle, the headliner is not perfect, the drivers seat bolster has some wear, there some small splits on the dash, and minor cancer bubbles in the bed of the truck the size of a dime, which is hardly noticeable, as I’m just trying to be detailed on the description.
