For sale is my 1985 Mustang convertible with 158,000 miles. It has the 3.8L V6 that runs great with no problems. The automatic transmission shifts great. Overall the car runs great. Passed smog a few months ago with no problems. I put a brand new black convertible top on it with a glass window, the power top does not work, you have to put it down manually. The body is very straight and has very little rust on the bottom of the doors. Paint is original. It does need paint, the clear coat is coming off on the whole car. The interior is in great condition for its age, there are no rips in the vinyl seats. The carpet is in pretty good condition but will need a good shampoo to make it look really nice. The dash will need replacing due to cracks and the speaker grilles are completely gone. The car does need a new computer, currently the fuel pump relay is bypassed due to the computer fail. The car still runs and drives but will need a new computer at some point. I bought one off of eBay for $30 and it was the wrong one, new a computer is $170 but they are all over used for under $50 or you can get it rebuilt from what I was told. This car would make a good 5.0 conversion and or a good daily driver that's not to bad on gas. The car is currently on a non-op. I have the clean and clear CA title in my name.
