Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful 1971 shortbed C10. She has a 5.7 liter rebuilt V8 bored out .030" with just under 50K on the rebuild and a 350 turbo automatic transmission that was also rebuilt about 70K ago. Hooker headers and an Edelbrock carburetor, she runs clean and strong. Within last two years have replaced the water pump, battery, starter, front discs and rotors, and master cylinder. Interior is brown cloth seats in good great condition, darker brown carpeting. She's lowered 3 inches in the front and 5 inches in the rear which gives her a nice stance, she was lowered with a kit.. Wheels are 20" Eagle Alloys and tires are low profile Good Years in good condition. The bed of the truck is rhino lined and there is a hidden hitch behind the rear license plate. She also has rhino lining in and under the cab for sound deadening. No rust. She has a front Billet grill and tint on the windows, also has sound system with Pioneer deck and two 9x7's Infinity's under the seat. I was the third owner, second since the majority of the restoration has been done. I used the vehicle as a daily driver and as such she did receive a few bangs but nothing serious. Now to some blemishes: The gas gauge reads either full or empty and needs a new fuel sending unit, the temp gauge needle is stuck at halfpoint and only reads after the engine is warm. The climate control system is not installed, I have the equipment necessary to put into the truck but haven't had the time to install. There is about a 5" circular stain in the carpet on the floor on the passenger side. On top of the cab the paint is cracked and there are three other spots in the paint where chips can be seen, together they'd fit on a dollar bill. Aside from these cosmetic blemishes she is great. I can take pics of the blemishes for serious inquiries. She's a head turner and a strong runner, what a ride! I hate to lose her however I've had my fun and now need to consolidate toys.
