I have a 1979 Honda Cx500 up for auction. This is a fun bike to ride. Its never left me stranded. Since I bought it 3 years ago Ive done brakes (front and rear), recovered the seat, put lower bars on the bike, shorter cables, bar end mirror, smaller blinkers, taillight, replaced exhaust gaskets, new headlight brackets and a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting. This bike was not ridden hard or raced in any way. The tires still have a lot of life left in them. The bike is shaft driven so you don't have to maintain a chain or sprockets. I've changed the oil before every riding season. This bike would be a great bike for someone looking to ride right away or to turn into a cafe bike, bobber, brat, or tracker style bike. My intension where to turn the bike into a street tracker because I really like the look of them. Ive maintained and taken care of this bike very well and I hope the new owner does as well.
