This was an EBay purchase on 2012 from Colorado that was supposed to be an 8.5 out of 10 when I received it!. I have since pulled the car apart and upgraded or replaced virtually every piece as follows to now make it a 9.5+: Car has only 120 miles on restrortaion, started with 8500 miles on original working odometer. I have every bill for every part purchased and will supply them with a binder and all of the restoration photos (over 250 detail photos were taken) 1) Complete body off restoration and 100% paint strip to bare fiberglass. All areas prepped and block sanded to perfection. Car is now 05' Volvo Silver, base coat clear (was black) 2) New VW floors, full length c/w all new body seals. Primed, painted and undercoated. 3) Mechanical: New ceramic exhaust and SS tips, all new 4 wheel disc brakes, pads and lines. New Eagle GT Radials. Complete new steering system to include steering box, pitman arm, steering dampener, tire rods and ends c/w all bushings. Every bolt on the entire car replaced with new plated bolts (all metric). New shocks, front & rear. Engine gaskets, CV boots, engine grounds, 4) Body: New front glass and window trim. New door handles, new coped SS body trim, new decals, all new emblems, all new plastic lenses and lights. New fuel tank, sending unit and wiring. All new fuel lines front to back. New bumpers, mounting hardware and trim 5) Electrical: Replaced and re-wired complete car front to back with all new wire, every connection soldered. Multi grounds, master power fusing. Up graded fusing system to modern fuse block & spade fuses. All new VDO gauges: MPH (electronic sender), Tachometer, Fuel gauge, Oil temperature, Volt meter new alternator and wiring. 6) Engine: MSD Electronic Ignition c/w wires, coil and plugs. Engine dress up kit (chrome) New exhaust. New starter motor, new battery and all cables front to back. Engine had only 8,500 original miles and runs perfectly (dual carbs), has been tuned & timed. 7) Interior: Dyna Matt sound dampening materials on inner doors, floor, firewall and rear engine wall. New black reclining seats and trim. All new carpet (black) c/w professionally bound edges. New dash pad and trim. New interior door handles, knobs, mirror and all interior snap fasteners, trim screws etc. Nardi wood trim steering wheel. Original tan convertible top is in great condition with no holes (operates perfectly). All hardware is in perfect working condition. Side plastic windows were polished and look new. Black cockpit cover in new condition covers hide away top. All snap fasteners are new stainless steel. If you don't see something here, just ask! I am sure I replaced it
