This is a 7 day NO RESERVE auction. Starting bid is $.99 and will be ENDING THURSDAY APRIL THE 17TH AT 8:30 PM PST. It pains me to have to do this but it's time for someone else to put the final touch on my 1975 Honda CB360 custom cafe racer. I began this build years ago and slowly but surely built my idea of a cool cafe racer. I'm a welder, fabricator by trade and I assure you all the work on the bike is absolutely solid. I'd say the bike is 90% done. All necessary fabrication is done but still needs some small things that any decent mechanic could do without a problem. I have more hours invested into this bike then I will admit to. There too many subtle changes to mention. There's tons of pictures so please inspect closely. I just don't have the time to finish so it's time to sell. Perfect time of year to get her tuned up for summer. I will be adding to this auction during the week as I will continue finding parts and extra stuff I'll be throwing in. 1975 Honda CB360 Started out as a great running bike Frame was completely stripped bare, detabbed Rear shock mounts relocated so the rear portion of the frame wouldn't be seen under the tail CB750 rear shocks (springs?). It's a stronger and taller shock. Rewelded (TIG) entire frame with stainless rod Relocated front tank mounts to lower front of gas tank Rebraced front section on frame One-off steal pan (fiberglass hump) cafe seat Custom rear sets and linkages Reworked & relocated Ducati Kickstand Front forks have been lowered slightly Swapped fork legs to position front caliper on the backside of fork One off stainless steel clip-ons One off headlight using S.S bucket, Machined Lip/Visor, Mustang 5.0 Fog lense Custom headlight mount Oem tach redone to sweep from about 1:00 O'clock position (still looking for this one but I know it's around) Custom tach bracket Cb750 front master cyclinder Res cap, top fork bolts, Triple clamp bolt, oil cap, carb top all machined smooth Top and bottom triple clamps reshaped, smoothed Top triple pinch bolts countersunk & steel inserts also countersunk (bolt side) for a super clean look ALL chrome was sanded down to nickle Hubs machined completely smooth. Custom Stainless front wheel spacers speedo delete Front fender english wheeled to fit contour of tire Motor has starter deleted Reshaped motor fins for a smooth look Brushed finished cases Wrinkl finished black S.s. Single carb manifold 32mm Mechanical Mikuni Carb (top cap machined smooth) Machined Alluminum Velocity Stack One off custom exhaust Tip is S.S and internally baffled Relocated Small 12v battery in tail Custom taillight with projector lense Custom license plate bracket Fresh PPG Global Line Paint Base/clear. It's a very nice paint job but it's not perfect. Tank is dead straight, tail has very slight flaws in the body work but is not something you can see, only feel. I'm probably being over critical. New set of Metzler Tires Custom center/service stand What the motorcycle needs to be complete:Spokes tightened and wheels trued and needs tubesWiring (very simple circuit) it has coils, reg/rec, batteryCarb jetted and tunedThrottle cable ran and hooked upTail light internals builtEngine fluidsSmall odds and ends and small parts needed. I will be updating this list in a few days to give an accurate idea of what it needs. Bike has clear title in the form of a signed/notarized Affidavit In Lieu of Title. If there are any problems I can quick title the bike on the spot (washington state will print us title on the spot) if needed. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Please feel free to shoot me questions or if there's something you'd like to see pictured. Thanks and happy bidding. On Apr-14-14 at 18:11:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I just wanted to address a question or two about the bike. First off, yes the frame is completely bare. Personally, this is how I was going to keep it. The bike has been sitting for over a year and all i've done is an occasional wipe down with WD40 and there is no rust. I was looking into different coatings and clear powdercoating but the frame can always be painted. Regarding the single carb. I never got a chance to even try to make it run with the single. I did do a mock up wiring on the motor (4 wires total if I remember right) and with a squirt of starter fluid she fires right up but never had it running with how it sits. If this is a concern you could always throw stock dual carbs on and it should run without a problem. Here is an update on exactly what is needed to complete the bike.-Spokes tightened and wheels trued and needs tubes-Wiring (very simple circuit) it has coils, reg/rec, battery-Carb jetted and tuned-Throttle cable ran and hooked up-Tail light internals built (you can see in my pictures what's going on here. I've got a bezel with a projector. I've tested this out and all you would need is a little led light inside the tail and it will light up the projector nicely. You would have to find a way to mount the light.-Fluids-Found petcock-Found tach gauge assembly (pictured) but I still haven't found the actual guts of the gauge. I started a bracket but never mounted it. I liked the simplicity of no gauge. I know I have the internals somewhere it's just a matter of when I find it. When I do find it I will mail to the buyer.-Found Speedo gauge (taken apart but in good shape)-Found the original vin tags-Missing is the locking section of the gas cap (easy find and there's a good chance I'll find it)-Missing one axle insert that acts as a stop for the wheel adjustment. -All the missing misc. nuts/bolts i will supply so that shouldn't be an issue-Just a note, almost every single 6 x 1.00 bolt on the bike is the same mini 8mm Honda bolts. I collected these specifically to keep it all the same. -Will need grips of some sort. -I am including another 2 into 1 intake manifold I built but I didn't like the location.-Also pictured is the front fender. I had plans to run it clocked kind of crazy but never built a mounting system. I ended up liking the bike better without a front fender. -I forgot to mention that I replaced the oil pump. I took a couple more pictures that should better give you an idea of where the bike sits. There are also some pictures while being built.
