Here we go, lets roll back the clock. The year: 1968. The car: 1968 Dodge Dart Post, with it's original rolling 13 inch wheel and tires. Yes folks, that's the way they came brand new back in the day when cars got 20 miles to the gallon, and cruised the freeway at cruising speeds all day long. Yes, this is a very complete, solid, rust free original California Car that was very well taken care of. I do know the original owner, and every service was done it's entire life. The car starts and drives flawlessly, goes down the road real nice and straight with no issues. It has drum brakes all the way around, with a strong running, 225 cubic inch, Slant-6. The car is very complete with all of it's original trim. It was an original A/C car, but the parts under the hood are long gone, so there is no A/C or heater right now. That is the only thing missing. The interior smells like a new car, with new headliner, carpet, and seats are newly redone. The exterior has never been wrecked nor rusted. All the exterior trim is bright and shiny. It was recently painted it's original ice blue color, base coat with clear coat. It has 3 coats of clear on it, so if anybody would want to sand it down and polish it to a glass finish, they can. It is an original black plate California car, and it has been here all it's life. It is an extremely rust free and rare MOPAR. License plate already says 440 on it if you wanted to convert it to a Super Stock or throw a HEMI in it. There are no safety issues, it does not leak oil, there is plenty of trend on the tires, the lights all work, the windows go up and down, and the automatic transmission and kickdown work great. This car would be perfect for a graduation or birthday gift for someone who just wants to drive an old cute car. Granny's gone, but the car's still here.
