For Bid - 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Drag Car / Pro Street project. This is a really neat old race car that someone took apart and didn't have time to put back together. The car is a roller, there is no motor or transmission. The car does have a Ford 9 inch rear end, narrowed with Strange axles, and a 4 link coil over setup. The car has been tubbed and has a nicely fabricated cage as shown in pictures. It has some old weld wheels and some big 14x32 inch tires. The car has a drag shifter, some various mallory ignition components. Front tires and wheels are period correct drag race ready! The convertible top is actually in very nice shape, the frame is all there, it goes up and down nicely. The car still has glass windows that roll up and down. It has a Mako front end on it that needs some work. The doors are nice, the quarters are in good shape and the frame is nice also. There is no title with the car, sold on bill of sale only. The car is listed for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early prior to the reserve being met. This is a great car to finish and drag race or make a pro street cruiser.
