Up for sale is my single cylinder drag quad, custom built from the ground up. Custom built rigid chromoly chassis, with custom steering and adjustable length for larger displacement single cylinder motors. Wheelie bar is included with chassis. Custom built aluminum fuel tank, lightweight front jr dragster wheels. Motor was drag ported, head was cut to run alchohol, and transmission was drag cut, all motor work was performed by Nate Mccoy, and all motor work was intended for a stroker crank and alchohol fuel. drag racing only! This isnt a trail motor! The motor also has an out of frame drag pipe (cannot remember if it was a shearer or ESR) as well as v force reeds, oversize carb, and direct bolt on air filter for optimum airflow. Has CR style ignition which gives it a better timing curve and small, lightweight flywheel. Override transmission, drag cut so it can be shifted without the use of a clutch while racing. The clutch assembly uses stiffer clutch springs to compensate for the high horsepower and torque. Rear brake only, tether kill switch attached to the handlebar. Rims and paddles shown in photo are included in auction. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IS THE SEAT AND AXLE!!! They are gone and have been for a while. This motor was a project that I built from the ground up with the help of Nate Mccoy. This motor makes AMAZING horsepower, turns alot of heads, and is very impressive because it is all done with a modified oem cylinder and head! The spacer at the bottom of the cylinder is the only indication that this motor is a stroker and is not actually stock, which almost makes it a sleeper motor, but the out of frame pipe and chassis give it away! I ran this machine at 1 race, and have not run it since! I made approximately 15 300ft passes. The track was extremely rough, but I was still able to pull consistent high 4s, with my best 300ft time being 4.8 seconds. With a more experienced rider and a smoother track this machine would be capable of a much better time! The chassis was built to originally accept and have a spot for a nitrous tank, as well as a small 12v battery for electronic ignition. The reason I am selling this quad is because there is no place to race these machines in my area any more, and unfortunately I do not have the time to travel to do it. The only track in this area is waaaay to rough, and I will not risk fracturing or breaking the chassis to run on a crap track. It has been sitting in storage for the past 2 years, and I am finally getting rid of it. I have no use for something that I cannot race, as much as I hate to sell it, I have to send it down the road. The motor was properly purged after the race, and before being put into storage. It is very lightweight, I dont have and exact weight, but I am a small guy and i can pick the whole machine up (all four tires off the ground) by myself. This is a custom build. There is no title and no way to register this machine. There is no warranty or return policy. It is sold as is, all sales final.
