1964 1/2 (1965) Ford Mustang Raven Black on Black. This early production 65 Mustang has been listed before. It was sold, but unfortunately, they winning bidder disappeared. This is not the typical car that you have to worry about on e-bay. We are not a dealer, nor a broker. Rather we are a builder and specialize in 60's-70's era Mustangs. This coupe was brought to us three plus years ago, to remove all of the rust and repair any and all issues as it had been sitting for a few years. The engine, has been done top end meaning we did the heads and intake. It is a 302 connected to a Ford 4 speed transmission with a 5 bolt 8 inch rear end. The entire drive train was gone through, all of the rust professionally removed, windows and assemblies removed, door handles and trim removed. Properly prepped and painted, including rust prevention under the primer, after ALL of the rust was dealt with. It has the fiberglass dual scoop hood with a prop rod. A new headliner was installed, along with new rubber throughout. It has been to many shows in Southern Nevada and is a fan favorite. The engine was in the car, when it initially came to us, and were told it had around 10K miles on it, but we can not verify that. It has aftermarket black bucket seats. The rear seat was redone at that time as well. The interior is painted black with black short pile carpet. This Mustang has front disc brakes, they are manual. Manual steering, but it is very tight. It has MSD Electronic ignition, with an Edelbrock 4 Bbl 1406 carb and intake. We can assure you all of the rust has been removed from the car, although it was minimal. Spots on the doors in the usual places, quarters in the usual places, the pans had no rust, wheel wells were also intact and rust free. The carcass was prepped with rust prevention, and catalyzed primes was used as the base, along with Nason 2 stage Raven Black. This Mustang is one our favorite customer cars to service, it runs that strong. We will take it to shows for the owner occasionally, because he travels extensively, which is why he is selling it. He does not have the time for it, and would like someone else to enjoy it. It has been moved to secured storage and can be seen and driven by appointment. Initially it was purchased for his son as a father son project many years ago, but by the time the son left for college the car remained and sat for a years incomplete. This is why he brought it to us a little over three years ago, and we went through it with a fine tooth comb. It is ready to roll. If you have a question, please ask. Cashiers Check or bank wire okay. The car must be picked up or shipped within 14 days of auction close, or it can remain in storage at your expense. Shipping is the responsibility of the new owner, but we can assist if need be. Free and Clear Nevada Title will be sent when payment in full received. There is a reserve, but it is very reasonable.
