1973 Ford Maverick Looking for a good home! The condition of this car is good. It's an attention grabber (though not a grabber) for sure! The cosmetic work that needs to be done is minor in comparison to what I had to do with my 1991 mustang gt. The only real problems with this car are, the transmission slips between 1st and 2nd and the floater in the fuel tank does not work. The engine it has in it lives up to its reputation of working great. The engine to me is the most impressive feature of this car because of how well it works after 41 years. The body of this car is in excellent condition and it rides very smooth! Although she's a beauty, she isn't perfect: The back seat has a tear. It has the stock radio, but I haven't checked it out. I don't believe it is hooked up. The floater in the gas tank needs to be changed. The transmission slips between first and second. This car would be so easy to restore! I'd do it myself, but this is my fourth car in my driveway between two people. It gets old moving all these cars around to wash or work on them.
