Vehicle Detail
This is a great little short bed pickup. It is very reliable, quick, and fun to drive. I have owned it over ten years and just kept improving it over the years. The color is a BMW Boston Poly metallic green. A list of the improvements is as follows: · The front suspension is a Mustang II installed by A1 Engineering and is fully rebuilt with new bushings and ball joints · Power rack and pinion steering · Huge sway bars front and back · Front disc brakes · Engine is a 350 Chevy with Vortec heads and an Erson cam. New HEI distributor and wires. · Desert Cooler radiator · The truck was completely rewired and a fuse box installed. · Halogen headlights. · New Battery · Transmission is a Turbo 400 · The rear end is a Ford 9 Inch · The chrome is excellent except for the front grille which is starting to show age. · Wheels are American Racing · The gauges are Stewart Warner and all work, as do the lights, turn signals; etc.. · New glass and window rubber. · The Oak bed was refinished at one time but needs refinished. The underside of the bed is perfect, so you may be able to just flip the boards over. · Airbrushed smoothie tailgate with Chevy emblem. · Custom rear lower light panel for the rear lights. · California truck · The truck was disassembled and stripped to the bare metal, painted, and reassembled. I have several restoration photos and have included a few. It does need a few things maintained or finished, such as, the power rack and pinion weeps a little and the truck does not have a radio or a wiper motor. The clear coat on the paint is peeling on some panels. It was under a tarp and the heat affected some paint, like the hood and the top where the tarp rested on it. Great truck!
