02 Volkswagen Beetle TURBO-DIESEL TDI 5-speed. Nice clean beetle. Body is clean but has a few scuffs and stone chips, nothing unusual. Paint is shiny and looks great. Interior is in good shape except for the cloth roof by the moonroof has some wear. Arm-rest doesn't lock in all positions but functions fine. Carpet by drivers foot has some wear, otherwise carpet is very nice.... Car was driven daily by my wife and has no issues. I'd drive it anywhere in the country without a second thought. (We recently took a 700 mi weekend trip) Brakes are new apx year ago with cross-drilled rotors and ceramic pads. Tires are about a year old and have lots of life left. New transmission and clutch installed at VW dealer last yr. Timing belt was serviced by P/O at 175k. Has fresh glow-plugs and fuel filter. My best MPG was a solid 50. This generation TDI is very desirable for its power, reliability, and great mileage. it had regular synthetic oil changes. Can meet at the airport in Phoenix for out of town fly and drivers...
