This car recently came from my 93 year old late great uncle's farm in southeast iowa.. The shed it was in had no door and a dirt floor. I hauled it to my shop and put tires on that hold air. It has a clear signed title last issued in 1984. This is the first time the car has been for sale in 30 years. The vin plate has fallen off the car<<<----INTERNATIONAL BUYERS LOOK!!!--->>>the vin plate is NOT with the car. The cowl tag is still in place, and the numbers and options work with the info on the title. The motor and transmission look original to the car but I havent been able to verify it so assume non-numbers matching. The suffix on the engine block came back as a 1955 powerpack 265 V8 with a powerglide. Didnt try turning the engine, probably locked up. Has a 2 barrel intake on it, no carb. The rear end has the round tag indicating 3:55 gear ratio. The frame looks good, I didnt find any rot. The floor pans and trunk floor are pretty bad. The quarters and front fenders are rotton, the upper half of the car seems pretty solid, but the doors dont function correctly, the passenger window is broke out. No front seats, the rear lower seat is incorrect. The car rolls on tires holding air, and steers for easy loading. Vehicle is sold AS-IS where is. This auction can be cancelled at any time.
