**No Reserve Auction** Selling a very clean solid driver quality 1971 VW Squareback.. This car underwent a complete paint restoration over the last few years, completed about 5 years ago. The car had been owned by the same family for years and was a super solid foundation to start with. Having only 65k original miles on it. Very stock drivetrain in nice shape. The interior and exterior were modernized. It was a painted a newer Salsa Red Pearl and has custom seat covers made to compliment the exterior. Prior to new paint, it was still wearing its original green paint. It was completely stripped and painted inside and out using quality materials. It was fully re-upholstered new headliner, seats, carpet and extra sound deadner. All news seals as well. The paint is a nice driver status job. Not over the top show quality, but gets lots of compliments. I have over $12,000k in receipts for parts and materials put into the car, not including initial cost of the car. This is currently a daily driver with very few issues. Like any older vehicle it has minor things that need attention every once in a while but in its current state it is a great driver.
