Up for auction is a 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo with a salvage title, it has a salvage title due to overdue registration fees, not because of any accidents…I purchased this vehicle in 1991 from Fairfield Auto Sales which at that time the registration was 10 years overdue. I could not believe how en-tacked the vehicle was and it had all its original parts. The original owner pass away some time before that and the wife no longer wanted the responsibilities of the vehicle! This vehicle is absolutely ready for any car enthusiast, 90 percent of what you see in the pictures were redone 19 years ago…I have replaced and installed a brand new edelbrock carburetor but still needs a choke cable which is installed but not connected, the way I start the vehicle is with a few drops of gas in the carburetor until the fuel filter is full, most of the time it only takes one time depending on how long it been from the last run, she's very cold blooded. The brakes pads and shoes are in great shape, new gas tank, brake booster and master cylinder! The body and frame are in great condition ready for a body off restoration I have all the emblems for this vehicle plus the emblem which says built in Misle Chevrolet, the motor and transmission was rebuilt in 1993. The paint job is 20 years old and is the only material on the car, it was stripped to bare metal...it does show some wear and tear, chips, scratches a few dings so on, the trunk, rear panel was stripped to bare metal recently and is ready for paint, the front and rear window tracks were strip and painted and glass reinstalled, floor is free of rust, there is so much to list, so I tried to capture what I could, if you would like more pictures send me an email.
