For your consideration is a very clean very rare 248a option package 97 GT. This is the equivalent of a 1995 GTS only ford didn't call it a GTS in 97. These cars are very rare with fewer produced than the SVT Cobras. This car came from Ford with no foglights, spoiler, cruise control, ABS, traction control, or rear window defroster. It also has manual windows and locks with no electric trunk release, key only. The result of this lack of options is a very light nimble car and with the upgrades this 3110 pound sn95 will scream! I will list all modifications I can remember doing to the car but I may miss one or two as it was bone stock when I bought it 4 years ago. You will be amazed how good a 4.6 can sound with big cams and it certainly wont disappoint when you drive it. This car has had the current setup in it for about a month and has been dyno tuned at Pro Dyno in Fort Mill, SC where it made over 300 rwhp. With the aluminum block engine and IRS in the back it has a very good weight distribution and weighing in at 3110 pounds it goes stops and corners like a high dollar sports car. Once you've driven an IRS equipped Mustang you'll never want a standard straight axle again! I had forgotten about the one accident until I looked at the history report but i will set the record straight now. It was very minor someone just changed lanes and bumped me in the drivers fender. I have pictures of the damage i can email to you it was a dent about 4 inches wide in the fender and a cracked turn signal light. The fender was replaced with an oem ford part and painted with some of the basecoat leftover from the original paint job. I don't know why the report says moderate damage maybe just because the insurance replaced a body panel but now you know and don't have to worry about the accident.
