I purchased this bike from a dealer (Competition Accessories, 343 W Leffel Lane Springfield, OH 45506-3525) in July of 2008 with 14,105 miles. It currently has 27,503 miles. I may be the second owner, I have no proof, that is what the dealer told me since they also sold it new to the original owner. I have replaced the following items; front brake pads, tires, AGM gel battery, spark plug and scheduled oil and filter. Always used high octane gas and synthetic oil. I have always kept in the garage. The following items were on the bike when I purchased it; Remus exhaust, taller windshield, hand guards, heated grips, trunk, storage lid, speaker/storage box. All items are OEM BMW except the exhaust. The bike is 100% functional, starts and runs great every time. I keep it on a battery maintainer in the winter. The bike needs nothing, it is ready to ride. The bad; side rails by the storage box are cracked, a couple bolts rattled out and are not OEM replacements. No rides without full cash payment. The tires are very good, They are Avon Storm ST. If you want the bike closer to new, I would suggest replacing the side rails and mirrors. The mirrors do not like staying in position and the side rails just for appearance. The rear support is also scuffed a bit.
