Vehicle Detail

This is a Gasser that is not far from completion. All the difficult work is done. This is the cleanest 55 I have seen in quite some time. There is NO rust. Let me say it again….no rust! All the body panels, floors and trunk are solid steel. Doors fenders, deck lid are super clean. This is not all jacked up in the air. I was trying to achieve a solid gasser look but still maintain decent drivability. Solid steel flip front end that slides out and then flips up, flips with one person – fiberglass front ends don’t hold up over timeLaser cut steel bracing / brackets permanently bonded to original steel hoodSpeedway 4” drop tubular front end with disc brakes professionally installed4” front frame rails professional installedNew aluminum radiatorNarrowed Ford 9” rear, posi with new Strange Engineering axels with Chevy bolt patternBendix 11” rear drum brakesRefurbished clutch and brake pedalsTrunk mount batteryFloating rear ladder bars (pictured)New wire harnessNew steering shafts with proper geometry professionally installedOld school 15 x 10 real magnesium rear wheels (expensive) with brand new MT drag radials1975 454 with recent rebuild…..nothing radical here, just a good 30 over rebuild. Will be a good cruise motor with decent HP and torqueIncluded is a “new in the box” 274 Comp Cams cam and lifter set to achieve that rumpty - rump idle but still be a decent driverNew fender well headersPeriod correct MT valve covers in excellent shapeNew bell housing1974 Corvette Muncie 4 speed in great shapeCustom rear transmission mountAll engine accessories are included; HEI, plug wires, alternator and brackets, starter motor, aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb, pulleys and hosesTwo sets of front bucket seats, old school set and a new set of Speedway black buckets that are adjustable included are the seat bracketsAll the window channels, regulators, front and rear light buckets and bezels, glove box, ashtray, inside mirror, headliner bows and dash components, window and dash moldings, wing windows, speedo cluster are present and in good shape. This small stuff will nickel and dime you to deathBody wise it is ready for blocking and finish sanding. The rear wheel radius will need to have a slight lip radius put on it clean up nicely. The rear was shortened so the tires are just inside the wheel wells and not sticking out which looks horrible. What it does not have: Driveshaft, glass, rear bumper, font wheels are rollers only, heater, rear seat, shifter, a fan assembly (I was going to go with an electric but a manual fan will work) If you are interested and want more photos let me know. I have tons. No picture hunters please! I don’t have time to finish this project…too many others are waiting. My loss is your gain. I am willing to entertain trades for a 1960 - 66 Chevy short box or step side truck of equal value. Let me know what you have? Asking price is $8,000 but willing to work a bit. Title in hand. AS IS..WHERE IS
