Vehicle Detail
Bet you can't find one of these at the Mopar Nationals! 1981 Plymouth Arrow Pickup conversion. Done by the Sunrader RV Company of California back in 1981. Stored for over two decades with only 26,000 miles on the odometer. Truck comes with original mile clear Ohio title. Original milage claim by original owner. No other documents to verify. Truck spent it's entire life in Northern California until this month. Not sure how many of these conversions were done, but it's the only one I've ever come across. Sundrader RV Company in California professionally stretched this truck 36" and added the fiberglass cab. They also added fiberglass rear fenders and fabricated rear dual tires on the original driveline. Talk about the coolest mini dually out there! The 2.0 Four cylinder runs flawlessly. A new Weber conversion replaces all of the smog related parts to make this truck a joy to drive. The Four speed transmission makes this truck very economical to operate. Every mechanical part of the truck has been touched and verified to operate correctly. All lights, gauges, turn signals, fan, radio, etc works. The truck has power brakes, manual steering and factory air conditioning! New carburetor, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. New aluminum radiator and more! The interior has new carpet and seat covers and Dash pad cover. Talk about a great example of a rust free California viehicle! The truck has the original spare tire (bias ply no less) and the original exhaust!!!!! The original muffler had two small pin holes in it so I've replaced the muffler and tail pipe with a new one. I've also kept all of the original parts that will go to the new owner. All six tires are NEW! The original "Warm White" paint is faded from the California sun. It has a few scratches and one small dent on the front passenger fender. All panels are original and 99.9% rust free! One marker light and the front grill is cracked. All air conditioning components are there and appear to be functioning. Hard to test it when it's 5 degrees here! :) You can drive this truck anywhere and truly own a "one of a kind"! The truck is for sale as is. It is for sale locally at the Buy it now price. Update! Finally!!! The weather is 37 degrees and sunny the last couple of days so I've been able to put some miles on the truck. The truck starts, idles, drives and stops like a dream! No disapointments with this one!
