Vehicle Detail
Pretty much a barn find!! The Scotsman is a rare model only made in 58 and 59 and this is the deluxe model so it has 2 windshield wipers and a heater, glove box and emblems instead of stickers. Very solid just an little bit of surface rust in the bottom of the passenger side fender bubbling the paint and two little spots in the bottom of the doors. Very minor. Cab is very solid bed is solid. There is no drivers side glass in the door but the track and everything is in the door passenger side door glass is complete but both wing window and door glass are cracked but in tacked. Has been this way for 4 years and hasn't gotten worse. The truck has a small block chevy 327 with camel hump heads and long tube fender well headers with flow masters. runs great. Has a turbo 350 trans that shifts great doesn't slip at all. All the rest of the running gear is stock only other change is I machined the hubs so to has chevy drums but the internals of the brakes are studebaker. Fuel tank leaks out of the sending unit if you put a full tank in it. It's a running driving truck. I never thought I would sell this truck but just have to many vehicles If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I can send pictures of anything more u want to see if some of the pictures are turned you can thank Ebay for that their mobile site doesn't work well so I can send you better ones Sold as is no warranty. All sales are final Buyer is responsible for picking up and paying cash when you come to get itOn Mar-13-14 at 00:40:56 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a dent in the passenger side front fender and I little one on the top of the hood looks like from where someone closed it and pushed to hard. and the paint is in good shape for its age but it's not perfect there are two spots over the rear tires on the fenders where the paint is chipped off only about an inch high and in speckles like something rubbed on them was there when I got it. There not dented or any thing. Like I said its like a barn find great solid running driving truck but the paint has little flaws here and there and the two dents and the little bubbling in the bottom of the passenger fender. I had some one tell me it has the wrong front end on it for a 59 do ur research it's not a normal 59 pickup it's a SCOTSMAN it was put out as a low cost truck in 59. And looks like the late 40's pickups but has a one piece windshield and no fancy emblems and a simple dash. Pm me if you need any more pics or have any more questions
