You are viewing a 1985 Mercedes Benz 300D TURBO DIESEL. This is the last year they made them, however it is easy to find parts if you need them. Mercedes Dealers carry all the parts for it and service. The car is equipped with Power windows. This beautiful car runs and drives very, very well for its age. The engine also runs well and sounds really great. The last valve adjustment was done a few months ago in November, during my annual valve check. The turbo diesel engages at about 40 mph if you accelerate and lifts the speed of the car to 70/80 MPH almost immediately, like as if you turned on a rocket behind the car. New shock absorbers, new brakes, new steering box, new fuel lines, new muffler, well serviced injectors, new battery, new tires, all filters replaced and all liquids purged and serviced. The central air pressure locking system was redone and it works like a charm with no vacuum leaks at all. When locking the driver's door lock, all doors and trunk lock simultaneously using the air pressure pump as per factory specifications. The automatic transmission shifts gears smoothly. All lights are working, including the fog lights. The dash board clock works accurately. All of the electronics work nicely. The tires are in great shape, they are less than 4k miles old. New starter. The AC was also redone and it is nice and cold. The radio has a detachable face with a nice CD player. The brakes were recently done too, which is why the stopping power is great. I just serviced the car last month. All fluids just checked and fine, nothing is leaking at all! New glow plugs and the engine always cranks on the first strike. There is a brand new spare wheel/tire, with factory original jack, lift and tool kit. The original driver's manual is also included. This car will last over a million miles if taken care of properly. The interior is in very good condition and very clean. The body and paint are beautiful. This is for someone who will continue to appreciate and maintain it the way its been maintained its whole life. The car has been kept indoors in a garage. It is a pleasure to drive this amazing sedan, it cruises amazingly; no rattles, no shakes and no pulling. Still with the original Mercedes double horn and all the chrome on the car is in place. In brief, a dream car! CAR IS SOLD "AS IS".
