Vehicle Detail
Up for auction, is this 2003 Chrysler 300M. The car has been well maintained, and is pretty clean inside and out. The interior is very clean--leather seats, dash, and carpet are in very good condition with minor wear and tear. The exterior is in good condition, but does have a few scuffs/scratches, but nothing major. View the pictures closely. This vehicle will need some mechanical work, which is why it's being sold so cheaply. A newer engine with 110K miles was just installed, but the car won't start. It turns over as if it won't to start, but doesn't. The newer engine came with a 30-day warranty, and we heard it run before it was taken out of the car. So the engine is good, but not sure if it's the correct engine for the car. Some mechanics they can make this engine work, but my mechanics weren't able to. Since the owner purchased the engine, he's a fault; therefore, decided he didn't want to put anymore money into the vehicle. We still have the receipt to prove a newer engine was purchased, as well as the engine that was removed from the vehicle listed. This car is a head-turner, and could be a quick fix for someone. The car was driven to the shop; therefore I can tell you the transmission is fine and that the car drives well. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks and Good Luck!On Mar-03-14 at 17:27:19 PST, seller added the following information: I just want to make sure I clear something. Lately buyers are bidding and after winning the auction, they want to change the terms of the sale. As the seller, I set the terms, and if you are uncomfortable with them as a buyer, I understand if you don't bid. I sold this vehicle recently to buyer, userid, ib-67. After winning the auction, he started telling me what he wanted, and what he wasn't going to do. Then demanded to see they paperwork for the engine, which wasn't a part of the sale. Still, when I retrieved the paperwork, he still didn't show. Again, buyers don't set the terms, sellers do. As far as this vehicle, it's everything I stated in the description. I disclosed everything I know about it. I can junk the car for $500, but I feel the engine not cranking is more to do with the mechanic not installing it correctly, then the engine being the wrong one. However, I am not sure. That's why I listed it for $500 with NO RESERVE. So if you have any questions and/or concerns, or you're not sure about something, please feel free to contact me before the auction ends. Thank you.
