bought this about a year ago, and even though i've done a ton of work- i've lost steam and have too many projects, and she needs a new home. - seats were taken out and doghouse was disassembled. head was taken off and had valve job (with new seats cut in- and new valves. for use of unleaded gas, which wasn't unleaded in the 60's). at this time i replaced fuel pump, water pump, pertronix electronic ignition, thermostat, all new hoses and fuel lines, had the radiator re-cored (hi-flow 4 core- way better than stock), had the carburetor rebuilt professionally, put in new 1-wire alternator, added an in-line fuel pressure gage, new starter relay, new battery (with custom tray under the driver seat), new battery wires, and had the intake and exhaust sandblasted and checked for cracks. oh yeah, the motor is a 170. - clutch and tranny was shot, so i bought a rebuilt C4 (automatic) transmission and installed that. this included new torque converter, B&M floor shifter, cut down and professionally balanced driveline, oil cooler, etc. the rear end is still stock. - doghouse was blasted and powder coated then reassembled with hi performance heat shield. using all grade 8 bolts (because the yellow bolts looked good against the black- i'm kinda anal retentive). - i replaced all of the brake cylinders, all 4 wheel pads, drums on the front, the rubber lines on the front, and rebuilt the master cylinder. and had a local shop adjust them correctly (cause i suck at that). - all new gas shocks front and back, and new sway bar bushings in the front. - it has a new muffler, hanger, and exhaust gasket - seats were professionally upholstered gold metal flake top and seat, the rest black- with new padding and stuff. same guy did the carpet for me using the "era" cut/pile carpet and sewed in a nice edge/border and a foot pad (has padding underneath for heat/sound barrier). looks super nice. best part is i took out the original heater, welded in a patch piece and after carpeting over it makes the floor space look way better. - i have a flex-a-lite mojave heater, the mounts are welded in and all of the hardware will be included. i didn't install it because i got lazy and didn't want to run the water lines. this will come with it. - also included is a set of brand new gauges (with all sending units) i got from speedway. once again- lost motivation. - dash is molded (ash tray and some other small stuff) and painted a gold metal flake. - wood grant steering wheel with chrome bullet cap - 15" astro supreme wheels with new enduro runway 205/65R15 tires. tires have maybe 300 miles on them? - all the glass is solid, no cracks. the windshield rubber was replaced as well. but not the rest. i have brand new windshield wipers that go with it as well. - all of the interior handles are in great shape, they're all chrome. i started doing wood panels n the back and painting all of the interior (fiberglass) panels, but kinda lost steam. - floor in the back was blasted and rhino-lined. before that i drilled holes in the middle and have a motorcycle wheel chock that bolts right to the floor. i guess i'll include that as well. i think that's everything? i've done a lot, but obviously it still needs some more love. it starts right up, every time- drives straight. i drove it like 250 miles a couple weekends ago up to long beach to the moto swap, she ran like a champ. i'm gonna put my number on here, please only call if you're truly interested. you can text me if you want as well, this is my cell. i can send more pics via that way if you want as well. please don't waste my time though, no dumb questions please. haha. shipping and/or pick up will be buyers responsibilty. i'll help however i can (within reason). $500. deposit within 24 hours of sale and full payment within 7 days. thanks for looking, joe (six19) eight50.zero553
