Description This Honda CMX250 or Rebel 250 is a 234 cc (14.3 cu in) cruiser-style motorcycle made by Honda on and off since 1985. It uses the same 234 cubic centimeters straight-twin engine as the Honda CB250 Nighthawk, which is a standard motorcycle. The Rebel is part of the CM series of cruisers. Since its wet weight is 320 pounds, it is commonly used in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s certified rider-training courses. The Rebel’s fuel consumption averages 52-62 mpg with refills needed at around 200 miles. However, this particular bike has been professionally equipped with an aftermarket fuel tank which has a 3.4 gallon capacity compared to the stock 2.6 gallon tank. Its maximum speed is 70 miles per hour. In addition to the aftermarket fuel tank, synthetic leather saddlebags and 24″ chrome sissybar with rack have been added for road trips or to transport gear. Kelley Bluebook lists this bike in excellent condition for $1,200. The bad news for pricing is: There are some cosmetic flaws like a torn seat, the engine block polish fading and pitting, light to minor rust and pitting on the chrome, and scratches on the paint. The good news is: The bike is mechanically sound. It starts right up, runs and drives, has great tires and recent brakes. It is street legal with turn signals and current registration in Oregon. Two years ago, this was my daily driver. I am moving and do not wish to have this motorcycle stored. I am practically giving it away at $900 firm. Contact me for details and or directions.
