This truck is a beast! You just don't see many like this around any more... There are plenty of old Broncos and Blazers, but the Dodge Ramcharger is for the true Dodge enthusiasts.. This truck is not perfect by any means, But it runs strong and gets me everywhere I want to go. I use it as a daily driver... the body is in fairly good shape, it does have rust around the fenders, and there is a sizable hole in the passenger side floorboard. The four wheel drive works very well. It is like a tank, it takes whatever comes at it, shakes it off, and keeps going. The pros:-its a classic-with the right know-how, it could be cherry with minimal effort-new carb (650 Holley)-1300 in new rims and tires, less than 3 months old-318 engine-new valve cover gaskets, and regular oil changes-another set of rims and tires come with vehicle (32" swampers on aluminum rims)-mechanical fuel pump replaced with electric-used as a daily driver, and dependable The Cons:-It does need some work, the extent of which is unknown. My guess is that it has a warn cam lobe, but I am not a mechanic, and couldnt say for certain. - It has a wheel bearing that will need to be replaced.-It does have rust-Gas gauge does not work (I think the float just has some pin holes in it)-some leaks in exhaust Certainly, this is not a new vehicle, but it is a fantastic vehicle, and with the right person, it could be an amazing vehicle again. I bought it two years ago, and it hasnt given me any serious issues in that time. Even if you didnt want to put the work into it, you could part it out and get your investment back (personally, I would hate to see that happen, but it is an option) Reserve price is set at 1800 dollars. I know thats a fair price. I am also willing to entertain trades for a smaller more economical vehicle. VW, Aveo, etc. Just let me know what you have. Thanks, and Happy Bidding!
