Check out this hard to find 1979 Jeep CJ5. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!! This was a locally owned Jeep and was a every day driver. A friend of mine has owned it for years and traded it to me to get a newer one. It is White over Gray cloth seats. The body is in fair condition for it age(view pics). The interior is standard with no carpet and steal dash. The front seats have been up graded to newer style jeep seats(High Backs). The back seat is still stock. The steering column has been replaced at sometime with a tilt column. However this column is a little loose and either needs to be gone thru an tightened or could be replaced with a new one. It was installed to make it easier to get into. The soft top is in good condition with exception of the zipper on the drivers door is going to need to be replaced. The engine is the 304 V8 with a 4BBL Carb. May need a fix on the radiator. The engine runs strong!! The transmission is the stock 3 speed manual. It shifts just fine. It is also equipped with aftermarket rims. The tires are in good shape. 4x4 Drive train is fine and functions properly. The odo is showing only 79076 miles and we believe them to be correct. However we are selling the Jeep as tmu due to the age. The Jeep is also equipped with dual exhaust and has a great sound. These Jeep are getting tougher to find each year.
