Car was built in '03 (not by me), well-maintained since (by Cantech Automotive), always garage kept, never seen snow. Heavily modified. Definitely a driver's car - it's very fast, accelerates quickly and handles well - driving this car is a lot of fun. The car sticks to the road like a 911. Boost is set at 17psi but could go higher. It launches hard and pulls super hard at any speed, as long as the RPMs are above 3000 (it's a big turbo so there's some lag below 3K). I've never had it dynoed but I'd guess it has around 400hp to the wheels based on other DSM setups I've read about that have been dynoed. Clutch is heavy, steering is tight, suspension is firm, car is low (but not too low to be driven most places). Body and paint is excellent for a car of this age - minimal scratches, no dents. The carbon fiber hood could use a coat of clear, it's starting to wear thin. Issues: There's a screw missing from the throttle body which causes the car to idle high at stoplights (~1500-2000rpm). A stab at the throttle drops it back to normal. I've been told the kit to fix this can be bought from streettunedmotorsports.com for $15. CD Player/head unit needs replacing. None of these problems annoyed me to the point of fixing them, and I drove the car almost daily in the summer. Comes with a box of original parts and original hood. I'm only selling the car because my personal tastes have changed - if I had the extra space & money I would keep it and buy something else too. But I don't, so it's time for this car to be enjoyed by someone else as much as I have enjoyed it the past 10 years. This car has over $12K invested in mods alone. On Feb-16-14 at 10:44:39 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention a couple things - one, the Optima battery is no longer in the car, has been replaced. The JL Audio subs in the trunk do not come with the car, although the car will remain wired for it. Also, the car does have the factory Infinity setup - 2 dash tweeters, 2 6" 2-ways in the doors, and 2 6x9" 2-ways in the rear seat area, along with the amp under the front passenger seat to power all six. I've replaced the 6" and 6x9" speakers since buying the car, with new Infinitys, and everything sounds great (minus the head unit, which is non-working).
