The car is in excellent shape, the paint looks fantastic. Cosmetically, everything is factory, with a few exceptions. The corner lights are smoke, the Roundel on the hood has been smoked, the roundel on the trunk has been replaced with an "M" logo, and the center caps with the BMW logos are not on the car right now. I can restore all of the emblems/roundel back to factory if the winning bidder wishes. The convertible top has bee replaced within the last year and is like new. As you can see, the engine compartment and trunk are in great shape and show how well this car was cared for. The front seats have some wear on them as can be seen from the photos. Having said that, they are in much better shape than many M3's of this vintage. The car is mechanically sound. It runs and drives just as an M3 should. There are no issues, and no lights in the dash are illuminated. The car is ready to go and drive home. Mechanically, a few upgrades have been made. The clutch, brakes, suspension, and exhaust have been upgraded. The car also has a short shift kit installed. The convertible top has been replaced in the last year and the car has barely been driven since then, so the top is basically brand new. The car looks good and drives great. This E36 body style is a favorite among many M3 enthusiasts. It is clean and pure. I have put a lot of money into this car to keep it well maintained and tip top. I have owned many BMW's and several M3's. I do not beat these cars and take great care of them. Any M owner knows how to treat these cars and appreciate them. I am looking for this car to go to a good home and to an owner who will appreciate it and all the care that has been put into it. FYI I am still driving the car here and there until it sells, although I do have a second car, so it should not be seeing much in the way of additional mileage.
