Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a beautiful 1977 Honda CB750 Four SOHC. Just a little history. I bought it from the original owner who bought it new in 1977. He put 6500 miles on it and sold it to his brother sometime in the '80's. He proceeded to put another, just shy of, 7000 miles on it. He decided to tear it completely down and redo the bike. He no more than finished it and he had a heart attack and passed away. So he brother re-aquired it and it just sat in the shop until he was ready to move it on. When I seen it, I was blown away and had to have it. But it just sits in my shop and it's a lot of money to have tied up in it if I'm not going to ride it. So here it is. It has not been run since being finished. It has a new NOS gas tank that still has the tape over the opening from Japan. I just wanted to leave it that way. New cap included. New NOS side covers, seat, fenders, taillight, turn signals, R.H. & L.H. controls and grips, headlight ring, tires, bearings, cables, brake lines, brakes, new master cylinder, pretty much everything. It has the expensive era correct Koni shocks on it. New Mac 4 into 1 header, new handlebars. Carbs. were sent off and completely rebuilt and I believe bench sync'd and polished. New chrome pod filters. Included is the stock air box. The original tool kit is included also. I think the pics will speak for themselves. Then engine was painted and many parts polished. New kick start lever. New horns. I can go on and on. It is truly piece of work. This guy was very meticulous. If the parts weren't perfect, he replaced with new. It will need a new battery, brake fluid for the front brakes and blead (was never filled), and he hadn't filled the bike with oil. If you plan to ride it which I hope someone will, I would of coarse do a good once over check on everything. I have clear title in hand. I'm sure I forgot something. The only real flaws I've found was a ver light scratch on the tank and a small chip on the tank where the fuel door lid is (see pics). Please ask any questions you may have or if you need to see a specific pic. The bike is sold as-is where-is. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will do what I can on this end to make it an easy pickup for a shipper. Thanks for looking! < On Feb-28-14 at 09:12:49 PST, seller added the following information: I've had a few questions about the engine and will it run. This engine should have nothing wrong with it and at 13,332 miles on it and being a Honda, it's just barely broke in. LOL! Previous owner was very meticulous. I never filled the tank with gas because then I couldn't say that the tank had never had fuel in it. Plus, if I sold it, there would be no shipping issues. and have to drain any fluids. This engine should run as good as the bike look. I do know that the carbs were jetted to compensate for the open element filters and header. Again, this is truly a beautiful bike from top to bottom.
